Programs for 5 year olds
The Pre-K program is geared for children who are age-eligible for Kindergarten but would benefit from waiting a year before starting formal schooling. Children who are 5 by November 1st may be admitted with the Director's approval. The emphasis in this class is on socialization and school readiness. Children become aware of God's love and care for them and learn to love each other. Monthly themes are enhanced by seasonal activities, field trips, classroom visitors, and book projects. The daily schedule allows for self-directed learning centers and group time.
Families are invited to attend the annual Thanksgiving Feast, and the end of the year Closing Program. We welcome parents classroom volunteers throughout the school year.
Parent conferences are offered in October and April.
Classes meet Monday through Friday, from 9:15 am-1:00 pm. Class size is limited with a Head Teacher and an Assistant Teacher.
